Method

Every result is calculated in your browser from your own details. Each line says why it appears, so you can check it.

Destiny matrix

Your matrix comes from your birth date. When a number is above 22, its digits are added together, the method nearly every calculator shares. We show every sum, so you can check it by hand.

Calculators sometimes disagree on the couple matrix and on a few points. The page says which method we use and why other sites may differ.

Birth chart and synastry

Planet positions come from Astronomy Engine, an open-source library (MIT licence). In our tests they sit within 11 arcseconds of NASA’s JPL Horizons.

The Ascendant, the Midheaven and the houses (Placidus by default) are our own code, checked against reference charts. We use the mean lunar node.

Birth places come from GeoNames. Your local birth time is turned into world time with your browser’s own time-zone data. If you don’t know your birth time, we say which parts depend on it.

16 types

The test uses public-domain statements from the IPIP Big Five, rewritten in plain words. Four of the five traits give the four letters. The fifth shows as its own steadiness bar.

The compare uses both people’s actual scores, not a fixed 16 by 16 table. Soulr is not linked to any trademarked type test.

How the text is made

Every reading line is fixed text we wrote, tied to your numbers. Nothing is generated while you wait. We drafted the text with help from AI tools, then checked each line against the method.

The compare

The compare finds the three things you two share most and your biggest difference, and says why for each. You won’t see “not compatible” verdicts.

Limits

These systems are for reflection and fun. Please don’t use them for big decisions about health, money or the people in your life.
